大横綱にな って！～Become a great Yokozuna!

 大の里の横綱昇進、おめでとうございます。
　日本人横綱としては、2017年初場所後に昇進した稀勢の里以来、約8年ぶりと
なります。
　幼少時のエピソードとしては、小学4年生の時に交通事故に遭い、自転車が
全壊するほどの事故でしたが、本人は数針縫った程度で、翌日にはいつも通りに
出かけていたそうです。
　また、中学時代には、同じ石川県出身の三輪隼斗という力士の姿をテレビで
見て、中学相撲留学を志したというエピソードがあります。
　相撲界に入ってからの昇進は非常に速かったようです　
　2023年5月場所に初土俵を踏み、2024年1月場所には幕内へ昇進。
　その後、2024年5月場所には新小結で初優勝という目覚ましい成果を成し遂げ
ました。
　2024年9月場所には関脇で2回目の優勝を果たし、初土俵からわずか9場所で
大関に昇進。これは昭和以降で最も早い記録です。
　そして、2025年5月場所には大関として2場所連続優勝を果たし、 最も早く、
横綱昇進が決定しました。初土俵から13場所での横綱昇進は、史上最速です。
　記録づくめの動きですね。8年ぶりの日本人横綱、期待しています。大横綱にな
ってほしいですね。

As a childhood anecdote, when he was in the fourth grade of elementary school, he was involved in a traffic accident that completely destroyed his bicycle, but he only needed a few stitches and was out the next day as usual.

In addition, when he was in junior high school, he saw a sumo wrestler named Hayato Miwa, who was also from Ishikawa Prefecture, on TV and decided to study sumo in junior high school.

His promotion after entering the sumo world seems to have been very fast.

He will make his debut in the May 2023 tournament and be promoted to the Makuuchi division in the January 2024 tournament.

He will then achieve the remarkable result of winning his first championship as a new komusubi in the May 2024 tournament.

In the September 2024 tournament, he will win his second tournament as sekiwake, and be promoted to ozeki just nine tournaments after his debut. This is the fastest record since the Showa era. Then, in the May 2025 tournament, he will win two consecutive tournaments as ozeki, and be promoted to yokozuna, the fastest in history. Promoted to yokozuna just 13 tournaments after his debut, this is the fastest in history. This is a record-breaking move. We are looking forward to seeing the first Japanese yokozuna in eight years. We hope he will become a great yokozuna.
