月面衝突により失敗！～Failed due to lunar collision!

 ispace社の月着陸船「レジリエンス」は、2度目の月着陸に挑戦しましたが、残念ながら月面衝突により失敗しました。
　2025年6月6日に月面着陸を予定していましたが、高度約3kmでの致命的な誤認識により、高度センサーが想定外の動作を示し、ソフトウェアがこれを測定異常と判定しました。その結果、推進剤が尽きるまで降下を続け、最終的に月面に衝突したと推定されています。
 多くの関係者が「紙一重だった」と感じており、着陸成功まであと一歩のところでの判断ミスが分かれた結果となりました。
　「レジリエンス」は、2025年1月15日に打ち上げられ、順調に月周回軌道への投入を成功させるなど、着陸に向けた準備は着々と進められていました。しかし、最終的な着陸段階での困難を乗り越えることはできませんでした。

　近いと言っても遠く離れた月、その月面に到着するということ事体、至難の技の様にように感じます。是非、時間と距離と技術の向上を目指して再チャレンジをしてほしいですね。

The lunar landing was scheduled for June 6, 2025, but due to a fatal misrecognition at an altitude of about 3 km, the altitude sensor showed an unexpected behavior, and the software judged this to be a measurement abnormality. As a result, it is estimated that it continued to descend until it ran out of propellant, and eventually collided with the lunar surface.

Many people involved felt that it was a fine line, and the result was a misjudgment just one step away from a successful landing.

Resilience was launched on January 15, 2025, and preparations for landing were progressing steadily, including successfully entering lunar orbit. However, it was unable to overcome the difficulties in the final landing stage.

The moon is far away, even if it is close, and arriving on its surface seems like an extremely difficult task. I hope they will try again, aiming for time, distance, and improved technology.
