シニアの学び～Senior Learning

 「学び」とは書物や先生から学ぶ縦的な学びとお互いが対話を通じて、それぞれの見方
や生き方、考え方を知り、それを通じて自分の見方や生き方を変えるといった横的な学
びがあるように思います。
　「学び」を縦的な学び（書物や先生から学ぶ）と横的な学び（対話を通じてお互いに学ぶ）に分けて考えるのは、現代社会においてとても重要だと思います。  

◆縦的な学び（知識の継承・体系的な学習）
　これは、歴史的に積み重ねられた知識や専門的なスキルを一方向的に学ぶことを指します。例えば、学校教育や専門書を読むことが当てはまります。 
　〇 メリット
　　・効率的に正しい知識を得られる 
　　・基本的な教養や専門性が身につく 
　　・権威ある知識を信頼できる 
　▽デメリット
　　・一方的な情報になりがち 
　　・学んだことをどう活かすかは本人次第 
　　・実生活に応用しにくいこともある  

◆横的な学び（対話による気づき・価値観の共有）
　これは、人と対話しながら経験や価値観を共有し、新たな視点を得ることを指し
　ます。 例えば、世代間の交流や哲学的な対話がこれに当たります。  

　〇メリット 
     ・他者の人生観や価値観を知り、視野が広がる 
     ・新しい発想や気づきを得られる 
     ・共感やつながりを感じられる  

　▽デメリット
     ・価値観が違うと対話が難しくなることもある 
     ・知識として体系化されていないため、整理が必要 
     ・互いの話を深く理解する努力が求められる  

◆シニア世代にとっての横的な学びの重要性
  特に シニア世代にとって、横的な学び（対話を通じた学び）はとても有用だと考えます。なぜなら、人生経験を積んだ方々にとって「新しい視点を得ること」や「価値観の広がり」が心の豊かさにつながるからです。
