いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン～Designing a future society where life shines

 　万博まで50日ほどに迫ってきましたが、どんな状況なのか調べてみました。
　2025年大阪・関西万博は、2025年4月13日から10月13日までの開催が予定されて
います。テーマは「いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン」で、持続可能な開発目標
（SDGs）の達成に向けたプラットフォームとして位置づけられています。
　参加国・機関は160以上で、日本、英国、インド、サウジアラビア、ハンガリーなど
が特色あるパビリオンを出展します。
　各パビリオンでは、最新の科学技術を駆使した没入型体験やインタラクティブな展示
が予定されており、未来の社会や技術を実感できる内容となっています。
　入場チケットの販売状況について、2024年11月13日時点で累計7,317,611枚が販売
されています。しかし、前売り入場券の販売が伸び悩んでいるとの報道もあり、主催者
側はさらなる販売促進策を検討しているようです。
　注目のパビリオンとして、デジタル技術を駆使してサステナブルな未来を描く
「TECH WORLD」や、各国が最新の科学技術を紹介するパビリオンが予定されています。
　 これらの展示は、数十年後や千年後の未来を体感できる内容となっており、次世代に
語り継げる貴重な体験となるでしょう。
　特に注目されているパビリオンの一つは、シグネチャーパビリオン（テーマ館）
です。
　このパビリオンでは、「いのち」をテーマに、世界的に著名な8人のプロデューサー
が展示を手掛けています。そのため、多くの来場者が訪れると予想され、待ち時間は
3〜5時間程度になる可能性があります。
　また、パナソニックグループパビリオン「ノモの国」も人気が予想されます。最新
技術を活用し、来場者が冒険できるインタラクティブな体験型展示が特徴で、待ち
時間は2〜4時間程度と見込まれています。
　さらに、サウジアラビアパビリオンは、巨大な「スーク（市場）」を再現し、没入
型の映像体験を提供します。
　2030年の万博開催国として注目度が高く、豪華な展示が話題となっており、待ち
時間は1.5〜3時間程度と予想されています。
　大阪・関西万博は、最新の科学技術や文化が集結する場として、来場者に多彩な
体験を提供することが期待されています。 

◆2025年大阪・関西万博の会場である夢洲へのアクセス方法は、主に以下の2つです。
　1. 大阪メトロ中央線（鉄道）
　　新設された「夢洲駅」が最寄り駅となります。例えば、新幹線で「新大阪駅」に
　到着した場合、Osaka Metro御堂筋線で「本町駅」へ向かい、そこで中央線に乗り
　換えて「夢洲駅」へアクセスできます。

　2. 主要鉄道駅からのシャトルバス
　　大阪市内の主要駅から万博会場への直行シャトルバスが運行されます。
　　これらのバスは全便事前予約制で、予約には「KANSAI MaaS」アプリのダウン
　　ロードが必要です。
　　※自家用車での会場直接乗り入れはできません。車で来場される場合は、舞洲、
　　　尼崎、堺などの指定駐車場に駐車し、そこからシャトルバスに乗り換えてく
　　ださい。
　　　また、空港直行バスや船舶など、他の交通手段も検討されています。

　　◆1970年に日本で開催された「日本万国博覧会（大阪万博）」の総入場者数は
　　　 6,421万8,770人 でした。そのうち、国内来場者 は 6,410万人　海外来場者
　　　 は 約120万人とされています。
　　これは、当時の日本の人口の約半数に相当する驚異的な動員数でした。特に
　「太陽の塔」や「月の石」の展示が話題となり、多くの来場者が訪れました。
　今回は、どれだけの入場者数を記録するでしょうかね。まずは現地に行って感動を
　受け、それを多くの方々に共有し広げていく事でしょうかね。

With only 50 days until the Expo, we decided to take a look at what the situation is like.

The 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo is scheduled to be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The theme is "Designing a Future Society for Life," and it is positioned as a platform for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

More than 160 participating countries and organizations will exhibit distinctive pavilions, including Japan, the UK, India, Saudi Arabia, and Hungary.

Each pavilion is scheduled to feature immersive experiences and interactive exhibits that make full use of the latest science and technology, allowing visitors to experience the society and technology of the future.

As of November 13, 2024, a total of 7,317,611 tickets have been sold. However, there have been reports that advance ticket sales are sluggish, and the organizers seem to be considering further sales promotion measures.

Among the notable pavilions are "TECH WORLD," which will use digital technology to paint a sustainable future, and pavilions where each country will introduce the latest science and technology. These exhibits will allow visitors to experience what the future will be like decades or a thousand years from now, and will be valuable experiences that can be passed down to future generations. One of the most notable pavilions is the Signature Pavilion (theme pavilion). Eight world-renowned producers are working on exhibits under the theme of "life." As a result, it is expected to attract many visitors, and waiting times may be around 3 to 5 hours. The Panasonic Group Pavilion, "Land of Nomo," is also expected to be popular. It features interactive, experiential exhibits that utilize the latest technology and allow visitors to explore, and waiting times are expected to be around 2 to 4 hours. In addition, the Saudi Arabia Pavilion will recreate a huge "souk (market)" and provide an immersive video experience. Osaka is attracting a lot of attention as the host country of the World Expo in 2030, and the luxurious exhibits are a hot topic, so waiting times are expected to be around 1.5 to 3 hours. The Osaka-Kansai Expo is expected to provide visitors with a variety of experiences as a place where the latest science, technology, and culture come together.

◆There are two main ways to access Yumeshima, the venue for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.

1. Osaka Metro Chuo Line (railroad) The nearest station is the newly built Yumeshima Station. For example, if you arrive at Shin-Osaka Station by Shinkansen, you can take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Honmachi Station, then transfer to the Chuo Line to access Yumeshima Station.

 2. Shuttle buses from major train stations Direct shuttle buses will be operated from major stations in Osaka City to the Expo site. All of these buses require advance reservations, and you will need to download the KANSAI MaaS app to make a reservation. *Private cars are not permitted to enter the venue directly. If you are coming by car, please park in a designated parking lot at Maishima, Amagasaki, Sakai, etc., and then transfer to the shuttle bus from there. Other means of transportation, such as direct airport buses and boats, are also being considered. ◆The total number of visitors to the "Japan World Expo" held in Japan in 1970 (Osaka Expo) was 64,218,770. Of these, 64.1 million were domestic visitors and approximately 1.2 million were overseas visitors. This was an astonishing number, equivalent to about half of Japan's population at the time. In particular, the "Tower of the Sun" and "Moon Rock" exhibits were a hot topic, attracting many visitors. I wonder how many visitors will come this time. First of all, I hope people will go to the site, be moved, and then share and spread that experience with many people.
