困難を乗り越えるための創意 工夫～Creativity and ingenuity to overcome difficulties

 「何としても二階へ上がりたい。どうしても二階へ上がろう。この熱意がはしごを
思いつかせ、階段をつくり上げる」。
　この言葉は、日本の実業家であり、本田技研工業（ホンダ）の創業者である本田
宗一郎の言葉として広く知られています。
　また松下幸之助さんの言葉としても語り継がれていることがあります。
　この言葉は、強い願望や熱意が、困難を乗り越え、新たな発想や解決策を生み出
す原動力となることを我々に伝えようとしています。
　その真意を深く掘り下げると、以下の点が挙げられます。
　強い意志の力: 「何としても」「どうしても」という強い言葉は、目標達成への揺
るぎない決意を示しています。単なる願望ではなく、必ず成し遂げようとする強い
意志こそが、行動の源泉となることを示唆しています。
　問題解決への主体性: 二階へ上がるという具体的な目標に対し、既存の方法がない
場合でも諦めず、自ら「はしごを思いつかせ、階段をつくり上げる」という能動的

動することで、必ず道は開けるということを伝えたかったのだと考えられます。彼の
革新的な発想とそれを実現してきた行動力こそ、この言葉の重みを増していると言え
るでしょう。
　両者とも強い信念と行動力を持っていた: 本田宗一郎さんと松下幸之助さんは、共
に日本の高度経済成長期を牽引した偉大な経営者であり、強い信念とそれを実現する
ための行動力を持っていたという共通点があります。そのため、このような精神を表
す言葉が、どちらの言葉として語られても不思議ではありません。
　類似した思想: 両者とも、目標達成への強い意志や、困難を乗り越えるための創意
工夫の重要性を説いていたと考えられます。そのため、本質的に近い思想が、異なる
表現で語り継がれている可能性があります。
　本日から大阪・関西万博が始まります。いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン - Designing
 Future Society for Our Lives」です。さらに、このテーマを具体化するための3つの
サブテーマが設定されています。
　Saving Lives (いのちを救う)
　Empowering Lives (いのちに力を与える)
　Connecting Lives (いのちをつなぐ)
　世界中の人々がそれぞれの多様性を認め合い、「いのち」を起点として、持続可能な
未来社会のデザインを共に創造していくことを目指しています。
　この万博を通じて未来に向けて、混迷した時代ではありますが限界を超えて新たな
創造が生れてくることを期待したいです。
　大阪万博には行けませんでしたから今回は行ってみたいと思います。
　10月まで成功裏に万博が進んでいく事を期待しています。

These words are widely known as the words of Honda Soichiro, a Japanese businessman and founder of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. They are also sometimes handed down as the words of Matsushita Konosuke. These words are trying to tell us that strong desire and enthusiasm are the driving force that overcomes difficulties and creates new ideas and solutions. If we dig deeper into their true meaning, we find the following points. Strong willpower: The strong words "no matter what" and "no matter what" show an unwavering determination to achieve a goal. This suggests that it is not just a desire, but a strong will to achieve it that is the source of action. Initiative in problem solving: Even if there is no existing method to achieve the specific goal of getting to the second floor, do not give up, and show the importance of a proactive attitude of "coming up with the ladder and building the steps" yourself. The message conveyed in this quote is that problem-solving should not be left to others, but should be done through one's own ingenuity.

Enthusiasm stimulates creativity: Intense enthusiasm breaks down preconceived ideas and brings about new perspectives and ideas. A strong desire to "get up there at all costs" produces concrete solutions such as ladders and steps that would not normally be thought of.

Through these words, Honda Soichiro wanted to tell us that when facing difficult goals, we must first have a strong will, and that if we use that will as our driving force to think and act for ourselves, we will surely find a way. His innovative ideas and drive to realize them are what give these words weight. Both had strong convictions and drive: Honda Soichiro and Matsushita Konosuke were both great businessmen who led Japan's period of high economic growth, and they had in common the strong convictions and drive to realize them. Therefore, it is not surprising that the words that express this spirit are spoken of as either of them. Similar ideas: Both preached the importance of a strong will to achieve goals and ingenuity to overcome difficulties. Therefore, it is possible that essentially similar ideas are being passed down in different expressions. The Osaka-Kansai Expo begins today. The title is "Designing a Future Society for Our Lives". Furthermore, three sub-themes have been set to give concrete shape to this theme: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives. The aim is for people all over the world to recognize their diversity and work together to design a sustainable future society, starting from "life." I hope that through this Expo, new creativity will emerge that goes beyond our limits and looks toward the future, even though we are living in a turbulent time. I wasn't able to go to the Osaka Expo, so I'd like to go this time. I hope that the Expo will proceed successfully until October.
