された。
2種類の選定については、天皇陛下が栽培されるうるち米「ニホンマサリ」と

栽培: 茨城県や千葉県など関東地方を中心に作付けされています。天皇陛下が皇居
内の水田で御手植えされることでも知られる高級品種です。
用途: 粘りが強く、餅にした際の弾力とコシが優れています。お餅の他、おこわや
お赤飯、甘酒などにも適しています。冷めてもおいしいのが特徴です。
