伊舎堂用久～Ishado Youkyu

　伊舎堂用久中佐は、沖縄戦で最初の陸軍特攻隊長として出撃し、戦死した人物です。
名前さえ知らない方も多いのではないでしょうか？
経歴は
1920年6月12日、沖縄県石垣島生まれ。
陸軍軍人であり、最終階級は陸軍中佐。
沖縄戦の陸軍特攻作戦初日にあたる1945年3月26日、慶良間諸島沖でアメリカ軍の
艦船に体当たり攻撃を行い、戦死。享年24歳。
1945年3月26日が沖縄で特攻が始まった日です。ちょうど80年前の出来事です。
死後、二階級特進により陸軍中佐となる。

　離島から陸軍士官学校に入学したということはかなり優秀な方だったと推測され

「死ぬことは何とも思わない。祖国日本はどうなるか。それだけが心残りだ」
　この言葉は、1945年3月26日に石垣島の白保飛行場を飛び立つ際に残したとされ
ています。この言葉から、祖国を案じる彼の強い思いが伝わってきます。

Lieutenant Colonel Ishado Youku was the first Army Special Attack Unit commander to be killed in action during the Battle of Okinawa.

He was born on June 12, 1920, in Ishigakijima, Okinawa.
