　　記録されています。山麓では家屋や耕地に大きな被害が生じ、噴火後も洪水な
　　どの土砂災害が続きました。
◆将来の噴火の可能性と確率
　富士山の噴火は周期性が明確でなく、予測が難しいとされています。火山学者の
鎌田浩毅氏は、「富士山は100パーセント噴火する」と述べていますが、具体的な
時期や確率を示すことは困難です。
　最近の報告では、富士山の大規模噴火時には約490百万立方メートルの火山灰が
噴出される可能性があり、首都圏にも影響を及ぼすとされています。
